Culture Shock
Don't blame yourself or others for the way you feel.
Culture shock is natural
Culture shock is sometimes referred to as "Culture Fatigue"
Don't set too many goals or ones you won't accomplish
You will be very overwhelmed
Set goals you know you can do
Get as much rest as possible
Take an extra nap and get a few extra hours of sleep
Eat well and healthy
Keeps your brain and body functioning well
Do things you enjoy!
You will be much happier and more capable of dealing with culture shock
Ask our counselor for help if needed.
